The UW-Parkside baseball team capped a successful weekend with a 6-1 victory over Wayne State (Neb.) in the Dunn Hospitality Invitational on Sunday at USI Field in Evansville, Ind.

In 41/3 innings, Kollman allowed one unearned run on two hits. The sophomore from Burlington walked five and struck out one for his first collegiate win.
Bergmann finished up with 42/3 scoreless innings for his first save. The freshman from Kenosha surrendered two hits and one walk while striking out one.
The Rangers (4-8) plated four runs in the bottom of the third. Brad Liermann and Mike Bjerke reached on back-to-back singles and moved to second and third on a sacrifice by Mike Pena.
After Taylor Nehls struck out, Dave Watson had a two-run single through the right side. Watson then stole second base and advanced to third on a wild pitch when Dave Lojeski walked. John Hasser then made it 4-0 with a two-run single to right center.
