News NASCAR prediction contest is open for picking
Your NASCAR predicting prowess can win you prizes from the Kenosha News.
Live and ready for playing is the News’ online NASCAR “Checkered Flag” contest, which has contestants picking winners for weekly prizes and competing for a season-ending prize on both a local and national level.
In the weekly contest, pickers predict the order of finish from 1 to 10 with the entrant netting the highest point total winning.
The weekly national prize is an official NASCAR series watch and a NASCAR Fathead decal. The weekly local prize varies.
The contest begins with the Feb. 14 Daytona 500. The weekly race is open until approximately 10 minutes before each race
In the season-long contest, the top 15 races count as an entrant’s total score. The entrant with the highest score at season’s end is the overall champion. The season-long contest’s national prize is a $1,500 Amazon gift certificate.
The season-long contest’s local prize is a six-month subscription to the Kenosha News and other rewards to be announced.
