The saga continues.
TWIN LAKES — Kurt Andersen, a special education teacher at Trevor School, will challenge Lakewood School Board president Steve Dunn in the April 6 recall election.
The recall election was called by the district after petitioners, who claim Dunn is micro-managing the rural K-8 school, collected enough signatures to force the vote. The deadline to file nomination papers in the recall election was 5 p.m. Tuesday.
The saga continues.
This Guy Needs To Go. Someone Spoke Out And Dung Had Them Removed. Who Does He Think he Is?
I am concerned with some of you people and your comments.Okay, so there will be an election, but try to act like adults and look at the issues. Both of these men have families; stop the immature mudslinging and rumors. Let's work with facts. Let's have debates and see which candidate has the concern of our school at heart and really knows the issues. Which man is willing to come up to the plate and work overtime for the good of Lakewood School? Which man is willing to keep moving our school into the present and look forward to the future?!
A board member who's given 15 years of his life to Lakewood vs. someone who's never been to a board meeting.
That's a wonderfully myopic view. Got anything deeper?
Finally, a parent with a vested interest, education experience and the willingness to step up. I hope that the public is kinder to you and your family than they have been to your opponent. Looking forward to hearing where you stand on the issues that plague Lakewood.
[INSERT Retro J post here] SNAP!!! Whew...there we go. Now this rant if official and has meaning!!!
This should be clear. Andersen is your man. He sees a bad situation and is stepping up to bring a brighter future to our students. Don't you feel like you have been in the dark the past few years? Andersen is the answer we are looking for. Who needs debates? Let your vote be the decision....mine will.
