Here’s an alternative to the KRM rail line: add a Kenosha stop to the existing Chicago-Milwaukee Amtrak line. There is federal high speed rail money out there to build a station like Sturtevant did. There would have to be a bus connection to Metra, but this could be done quicker than KRM, which seems to be going nowhere.
