There is secondhand smoke nearly everywhere

I’ve been wondering if people who are against secondhand smoke that comes from someone smoking nearby know that no matter where you go there will always be secondhand smoke. Once you leave your house you are in public territory, so no matter if you go to a restaurant, tavern, or wedding reception, there is secondhand smoke, not just from tobacco products, but from many other items that cause smoke in the public areas.

I quit smoking over 12 years ago and I don’t miss smoking. There are people that will try not smoking because of the new law that goes into effect in July. Why not let the halls, taverns, and restaurants that have spent so much to conform before be grandfathered in as long as there’s a special area for smoking only?

Illinois had a similar law. They modified it after over 60 businesses went under less than a month after the law came in to effect.

If Wisconsin wants to be eliminated from being a vacation area because of the no-smoking law, say goodbye to the many vacationers we will lose by having complete no-smoking in the the public areas and workplace.
