Linda L. Kane, 57, of Kenosha, passed away Monday, March 8, 2010, surrounded by her loving family at United Hospital System Kenosha Campus.

She was born in Waukegan, Ill., on Jan. 25, 1953, to the late Louis and Lorraine (Hangebrauck) Bombolis. She was educated in the schools of Waukegan and spent most of her life in the Waukegan area.

Linda was a homemaker and truly loved raising her children. She was well known by everyone for her passionate personality.

She married Robert Kane in Waukegan, IL and they were married 26 years.

Linda was proud of her Greek Orthodox faith.

Linda enjoyed watching NASCAR, Northwestern football, and the Chicago Blackhawks. But most of all, she was a "HUGE " Chicago Bears fan. Linda also loved to cook, read, and crochet. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Linda is survived by her three sons, Timothy D. Kane and Ryan C. Kane of Ill., and Robert J. Kane of Ohio; her daughter, Tammy L. Wyble of Wis.; her three sisters, Helen (Bob) Neofotistos, Carol (Jim) Hauri, and Kathy Morrison all of Wis.; eight grandchildren, and her former husband, Robert.

Funeral services for Linda will be held on Friday, March 12, at 10 a.m. from St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Libertyville (1400 N. Oplaine Road). Interment will follow at North Shore Garden of Memories. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 2 until 5 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home.
