Thomas A. Parker, 60, of Burlington, Wis., passed away Sunday, March 7, 2010, at his home.
He was born June 27, 1949, in Eagle River, Wis., to the late Dolph and Lorraine J. (nee Carlsen) Parker. He spent his early life and received his education in Eagle River. Thomas proudly served in the United States Marines and spent two years in Vietnam.
On Aug. 11, 1990, in Kenosha, Thomas was united in marriage to Betty Casteel. They have been residents of Burlington for the past 13 years.
Thomas worked at both Nestles and Anchor Glass. He loved his farm and enjoyed hunting. Thomas loved spending time with his family; it was the most important thing to him.
Survivors include his loving wife, Betty Parker; children, Jordan Parker and Sarah Parker; granddaughter, Cameron Parker; siblings, Judith (Bob) Patterson, D. Dan Parker, Kathy Parker, Linda (Marc) Benoit and James (Cheryl) Parker; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 12, 2010, at 3 p.m. at Schuette Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Laabs officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Friday, from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
