Edward G. Saad, 76, of Libertyville, Ill., passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2010, at Condell Medical Center.

He was born Jan. 4, 1934, in Grand Rapids, Mich., moved to Chicago in 1959 and has lived in Libertyville since 1978. He was an executive vice-president of sales and marketing for Manenti Associates for many years. Ed was also an independent consultant for Free World Consultants, establishing joint ventures in foreign countries. He enjoyed sports, especially his beloved Detroit Tigers, Lions, and Wolverines, but loved his family most of all.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Donna K. Saad; sons, Michael Saad of Bristol, Wis., and Jeffery (Jacqueline) Saad of Naperville, Ill.; grandchildren, Brandon, Tyler, Alexis (C.P.), Melissa, Jared, Mikayla, and Madilyn.

He was preceded in death y his parents, Andrew and Freida Saad; and by his sister, Marlene Vosburg.
