Mary A. Schrey, 63, of Antioch, Ill., passed away peacefully Saturday, March 6, 2010, at home surrounded by her family.

She was born Dec. 11, 1946, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of the late Andrew and Pauline (Bavido) Walsh. Mary moved to Antioch, Ill., in 1972 where she was a member of St. Peter Church. She enjoyed drawing, crafts, playing bingo, and loved playing with her grandchildren. On March 6, 1971, she married Joerg Schrey in Chicago, Ill.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years Joerg; two daughters, Christa (Douglas) Schneider of Salem, Wis., and Cara (Willie) Quinones of Volo, Ill.; five grandchildren, Valerie, Carlos, Cameron, Mason, and Isabella; a grandchild on the way; a sister Patricia (William) Adams of Skokie, Ill., and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial services with mass of Christian Burial will be held 12 noon Saturday, March 13, 2010, at St. Peter Church, 557 Lake St., Antioch, Ill. Memorial visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of mass Saturday at the church. Interment will be private. Arrangements were entrusted to Strang Funeral Home, Antioch, IL. Info: 847-395-4000.
